Greece Day 2

Today started off can i say a little shaky and a little hazy for some we rolled out of bed at about 8am dad got up and started to get ready OMG Lee Lee i will never complain again about the 30 mins it takes you to get ready. With noises of bangs, huffing and puffing and bloody hell and for F*$#k sake that was going on in the bath room it took him 1 hour and 20 mins to exit the bathroom. (Can I say I think he looked worse ).

We headed down for breakfast and planned our day walk through the Plaka and flea market on our way to the New Modern Acropolis Museum which houses all of the statues from the Acropolis. I would of loved to have taken some photos but with security guards out numbering the patrons 10 to 1  I couldn't risk getting wrestled the ground so you will have settle for photos outside the museum.

Out Side the Museum which is built over ancient ruins

After the museum we proceeded to climb the ancient ruins of the Acropolis 35 deg not a breath of wind the heat bouncing off the marble 3 bottles of water and dads 17 heart attacks we made the top, what a view its a great looking iconic building archaeologists still working on rebuilding it ( i think there're taking the government for a ride it only took 9 years to build the Acropolis and they think it will take 100 years to renovate it, I know a couple of Croatian builders that would have it in a year ).

Feeling hungry and a little thirsty we headed down and found a great little restaurant under a canopy of trees we had mezze and more Mythos Nectar of the Gods (all 12 of them ) and just talked and watched Athens go by. Now we are back the Hotel very Early start 4.30 am going off to Thessaloniki 7.30 flight

This is a distillery where they brew there own brandy and ouzo a great looking place
